Mitchell Marine Constructions is a family owned and operated company. Brothers, Matt and Chris Mitchell, have a combined 30 years’ experience and professional qualifications in Marine Construction and Bridge & Wharf Carpentry.
They possess a specific skill set that integrates approachability, client collaboration and project management. Together they deliver innovative, industry-leading results with delivery capabilities Australia wide.
Mitchell Marine Constructions was formed on the back of Matt and Chris’ long-standing employment with Waterway Constructions, when an opportunity arose to start their own company in this specialised field.
The timing seemed right along with their industry experience, knowledge and highly motivated team, Matt and Chris felt they could offer the waterfront and marine construction industry a point of difference.
COMMERCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE
Mitchell Marine Constructions have experience in delivering a variety of commercial marine infrastructure projects including:
Wharves and jetties, boat ramps, ferry terminals, navigational aids, walkways (both marine and on land/beach access) and piling.
MMC often install the piles for larger commercial projects in a variety of materials such as steel, fiberglass, timber and concrete.
We supply all the barges, cranes and crew for these marine activities to be carried out safely.

Stuarts Point Foreshore Upgrade
The objective of the upgrade was to give the most popular location in Stuarts Point, the foreshore, a much needed makeover.
The Stuarts Point foreshore upgrade was funded by Kempsey Shire Council at a cost of $4 million dollars. The works included new roads, carparks, amenities, playground, entertainment stage, new wharf, fishing platform and boat ramp.
